Problem with moving pushpins between pushpin sets

Hi y'all,
I just started using the mappoint for scheduling doctor's visit at my department, and I have already run into some issues.
According to the Help session, one can move a pushpin by going to properties, and simply select the desired new pinpoint set. In my case, I want to move the "newly" registered patients into "seen" patient pushpin set.

The problem is, I have created the "seen" patient pushpin set through import from an excel file.
When I attempted to move one of the "newly registered patients" pushpins into the "seen" pushpin set, the "seen" pushpin set does not show up in the list of "Data Set Names" in the properties. If I were to manually type the name of the dataset in the "New Data Set" option, the program says that the name is already underuse.

Is it because I imported the data from an excel sheet?

Thanks !!!!!

Re: Problem with moving pushpins between pushpin sets

Probably.

I know at the programming-level, imported datasets are more limited than program-created (eg. hand inserted) pushpins. For example data fields can't be changed.

If you think about it, this makes sense. In your case the two pushpin sets are probably located in the same manner (eg. street address), but this isn't necessarily the case. eg. Some might be located by county and others by street address.
