I know this should be easy, but I am having problems copying map legends into power point slides or word documents. I am able to get the text to copy just fine, but the actual key symbols just come up as a white/transparent box (with a little circle indent in the middle). I've tried everything I can think of, but cannot solve this issue. I know I am doing it right, as I can copy legends when using a co-worker's computer.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

sometimes you can't copy the symbols because your computer does not support the software. However, try copying it into a different program like Microsoft Image Composer or Adobe 7.0, or even Microsoft word document. Then copy it from that software into PowerPoint.

It happens often with pictures or clip art from the internet.
