Hello everyone,

I know that you can create dataset fields when you import the dataset from an outside source like Excel.

My question is whether you can create fields programmatically for the pushpin's unique identifier, in my case the invoice number.

I currently am able to uniquely identify the pushpin by setting the name to the invoice number but this causes the balloon to show the invoice under the name heading; this seems a bit sloppy. Is there any way to create fields programmatically in .NET and how would I go about doing this?

Hi Andre,

What you can do is display the name, and put the invoice number into the Note property of the PushPin. You can format the Note nice by putting \r\n and \t characters in it and for example default only display the name with GeoBalloonState.geoDisplayName;
