| Push Pins I am importing data from Excel into MapPoint (2004). My Excel spreadsheet contains the following columns 1. ID Number 2. City 3. State When I view the balloons of the push pin I have visibility to all of these fields. The only problem is that by default the name of the pushpin is the City Name. How can I name these push pins by My ID Number field instead. What I want to do is have the ID Number field be the name of the pushpin instead of the City. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Ravi. : |

In the import data wizard select for your Column ID Number the data type as Name. This will has as effect that the ID will be used as the Name in the Pushpin object. You can do that in the import data wizard interface but also by programming. Nikos |
