A happy new year to all at first!
I am using MapPoint 2002 and only wanted to add some photo links to the push pin informations that shall open e.g. MS Photoeditor. A file hyperlink like file:\\C:\Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen\Administ rator\... etc. does'nt work. How to do it?

Hmm, it should work. At least in the less expensive Microsoft Streets & Trips it works: Pushpin links to files and folders

Encouraged that it should work in principle I tried a little bit with the notation and found out that
file:C:\Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen\Administra tor\... and
file:\C:\Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen\Administr ator\... and
file:C:/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Administrator/... and
file:/C:/Dokumente%20und%20Einstellungen/Administrator/...
WORKED!

But notations with
file://... or file:\\...
did NOT!

At least if the file was situated in a path that contained 'space-%20s' in its name.
Because
file://c:/file.jpg and file://c:/software/file.jpg
DID work...

Strange but that's it!
