There have been times when I have multiple data sets in MapPoint designated with multiple pushpin styles. In a training/presentation mode, all the data sets can be visually overwhelming.

Is it possible to "toggle off/on" pushpin data sets to provide presentation flexibility without actually deleting the data set from the presentation?

If not, what is the best way to make this recommendation to MicroSoft for addition into future MapPoint iterations?

Thoughts? Words of wisdom?

I was going to ask the same question. Delorme can do it with "layers".. I was hoping mappoint could too.

Has anyone come across a solution for this problem in MapPoint 2009?

The Pushpin Tool has a "Hide" feature but it seems very cumbersome to hide each dataset individually, then even more of a pain to get the pushpins visible again because there is no "Show" option.

No there isn't a solution, although layering is often requested.

I did try a third party product (from Germany I think) which attempted to implement layers. I found it a bit clunky. This isn't surprising as it would have been saving, deleting, re-adding the data every time you clicked a layer on or off! This would only get worse as you add data.

I chose not to be a reseller for the product. I forget the name now. A google search will probably find it if it is still available.
