I do not know how to do it strictly by lat/lon. However, I think you may have better luck with looking at the zipcode. There are databases out there which list the town name, county and FIPS for zip codes.
I'd like to know if it is possible with the pushpin tool
No there is nothing in Pushpin Tool for doing that.

John - I actually use your add in to do a work around that gets me there. Essentially, I map an Access database of zip codes, which includes city names, county names, area codes, etc and then draw a shape around the desired zone and export with Pushpin Tool. On of the results is a listing of zip codes and the towns they represent.
But your not getting them back with just LAT and LON are you?
The data I map includes the following elements: Zip code, City name, County Name, Lat/Lon of center point of zip code, etc. When I map this file, then use Pushpin Tool, the data that is extracted is Zip code, City name, County name, Lat, Lon, etc.
I am not sure if I answered your question, but I hope it helps.
I understand that Mark, my question was can i get more info back than i put in other than LAT AND LON i supply
Sorry, I misunderstood your question. No, I don't think you can get anything back more than you supply. My info is mapped by linked Access files that have the common thread of zip code. Sorry I could not be of more help.
