I has a set of addresses which imports into MP just fine.
Now I need to filter the address based on whether they are located in a metro area or not.
Can seem to figure out how to do it. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Rob

How many addresses are there and how many cities? One thing you can do is draw shapes around the metro areas and then do an Export to Excel.

I have over 50,000 from a cross the US. I plan on filtering then state by state. ( no more the 10,000 at a time).
I did see that I could sort them by hand from the map by drawing a shape around the pins I was interested in and then exporting to Excel. I had hoped to do it programatically.
I think it should be possible since I can get the map to count the number of pins in a metro area by making a mulitple symbol dataset; and if it can count the pins it also should be able to list the pins in the area.
Thank for your reply,
Rob
