Pushpins...

Does anyone know of a way to make a pushpin invisible?

I have a set of maps that contain large amounts of pushpins by geographic area. I am in the process of recreating the maps, grouping the pushpins in separate datasets by zipcode. That is at best a step I can try if it is impossible to make a pushpin invisible...

Thanks,

You could create a custom pushpin symbol made of a tiny transparent bitmap , and assign the new symbol to the symbols that you want to make invisible.

I think I heard of this being done on the Newsgroup - iirc, a 1x1 pixel image is possible.

Hi,

you can also take the opportunity of the trancparance color of the bitmap. pixel 0,0 if set/reset in the properties.
