| [Q] Visualizing route map with Mappoint? I was thinking about NavTech and ESRI solutions but their data and toolkit are so expensive and I cannot afford that much price... However, recently I got to know MapPoint. Since we are subscribing MSDN I was able to install MapPoint on my machine. OK, my question is, I'm just wondering if MapPoint Active X control provides the features that I want. I'm going to work on map visualization, such as "LineDrive" at mappoint.msn.com. In LineDrive, it present the route in an abstract way, which means actual road shapes are distorted. So, is it possible in VB with Mappoint Active X control? If so, where do I get started? is there any nice tutorial for mappoint programming? Thanks. |

| Same Qestions
I have your same questions. I am interested in creating an off-line web server which will output LineDrive type graphics. ZeeG, have you made any progress? Send email to junkmail@flyinghat.com. Thanks. |
