Query of mapped points

Apologies if this is in wrong area, but is first visit to this area, and my best guess as to where to post. Here goes:
Okay, here's a long-shot. If this is off-topic, please
accept my apologies; it's my best guess as to where to ask.
Doing a business plan where a mapping solution will be
needed. The scenario: clients go to company and order
their products be delivered within x miles of their
location. Company has database of qualified customers who
would be interested in clients products, and wants to be
able to plot clients location (like in Map Point), set a
radius from that point and then return list of all
qualified customers within that mapped circle.

My question can this be done in Map Point? If so, what
plug-ins (or combinations of such) will be needed.
If NOT so, does anyone know of an app that will do
that?????

Thanks in advance.

I would say yes, that can be done in MapPoint. Once you have pushpins on your map, draw the raduis with the radius tool on the drawing toolbar. If you have you raduis shape selected, right click it and a menu pops up, choose export to excel. Excel will open and all of the pushpins that were in the raduis will be there.
