i have a large motor route delevering papers and it has been taking me about 4 hours to finish it, i was wondering if map point would work to help me to make the route as short as possible, if it could show me the quickest possible ways from adress to adress and order the addresses from as short to each as possible.

Yes. Set up your points (addresses) in MapPoint. Then under the Route Menu Item you will see Get Directions and Optimize Stops. These will provide you with a detailed report of the optimal routing for your points (addresses). You will also see a More Options item which can be used to switch between optimizing for the shortest route or the quickest route. More Options also allows you to set up your work day, speed limit, cost, etc... Mess around with it and you'll be surprised how well it actually does.
