| question I am working on a project at work with mappoint and i was wondering if it is possible to some way export what I have done into some sort of format that is still interactive, yet you dont need the actual mappoint software to access it. Maybe something like macromedia flash? The idea is to be able to share an electronic version of the map with other people in the office without them having to install mappoint. I need it to be interactive still so that when they click on a pushbutton it will still display the data. Thanks for your help. |

Hi, Not very easy to do I think. You can call Save() or SaveAs() to save electronic version of the map. You can then import it into a custom made application. But clicking on a pushpin very difficult to detect if mappoint not installed. You could save x/y coordinates of screen for that purpose. I think it is more easy if every user has mappoint installed.
