I’m doing a study between MapXtreme 2004 and MapPoint 2004 to developp an application with.

Who know the cost difference by using MapXtreme 2004 or MapPoint 2004 ?

And an other question : does MapXtreme have his own location server (like MapPoint Location Server) ?

but my question is :
If we developp an application with MapPoint SDK, we can access to real-time data trough the MapPoint webservice.
Can we do the same if we developp application with MapXtreme SDK ? How can we get realtime data and the most important question, how much does it cost ?`

Sorry, check with MapInfo.. I'm sure you can do it. The real-time data could come from the telecom carrier just as MLS does it or from a GPS unit. Fleet tracking companies approach this different ways.
