Reference Error

I am trying to utilize some code that I found here at the magazine. The article says to reference

MapPoint 9.0 Object Library(North America)
MapPoint Control 9.0

However, when I try to reference both in the same project, I get the following error:

Name conflicts with existing module, project, or object library

Can anyone tell me why?

Which article? Normally I thought you're not supposed to reference both (think I read that somewhere).

Reference Error

The article in question is

Extracting the Mappoint 2002 Points of Interest [267 views] : December 2, 2001
Extract all 801,171 POIs from the North American version of Mappoint into a database, for subsequent searches.

Ah, thanks. Yes, I think that may be a mistake in the article. I can compile and run it without the "Microsoft Mappoint 9.0 Object Library (North America)" reference and only the control..
