Remove cities and use two letter state abbreviations

Good afternoon,

I'm mapping a lot of stuff in MapPoint and it's getting cluttered.

Is there a way to force MapPoint to:

Get rid of city names
Use two-letter state abbreviations (FL, VT etc.)?

Unfortunately there's not.. you can decrease the font size but that's about it.
