Resizing the MapPoint control at run-time

Hi,

If I programmatically resize the MapPoint control on a form at run-time and then click on the resized control, it jumps back to its previous size.

Is this a problem which is common to all development languages using the MapPoint control?

A search on Google led me to an article which spoke about some ActiveX controls (not specifically the MapPoint control) reverting back to the state they were in when they were "in-place activated".

Please can anyone suggest why this might be happening and if there is any way around it. Is there any way I can inform the control that it has been resized, and that this is now the size it should keep?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Jonny

Hi Jonny,

Very simple solution: put panels on the form, drop the mappoint control on the panel you want and align it to client (the panel). Then just resize the panel in your code.
