| Restrictions Webbased GPRS Track & Trace I know there is a lot of discussion and also for me it is absolutely not clear what is allowed. Since we would like to sell our solutions it is important to have a clear understanding what is allowed. I made some hardware with dead reckoning GPS , that stores all data on compact flash . Occasionally I want to track also real time by GPRS. I used Mappoint 2004 to make a stand alone system to track by GPRS. First question : If the delay is > 15 seconds , what are then the restrictions for stand alone version? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The software puts the map regulary as a webpage on a server ... Second question : Is this OK? How many vehicles , users are allowed? Thanks for info!!!! Wim Verlinden (www.thongwong.be) |

Since we would like to sell our solutions it is important to have a clear understanding what is possible. I made some hardware with dead reckoning GPS , that stores all data on compact flash . Occasionally I want to track also by GPRS. (with delay of 30 seconds , so no real-time) 1/I used Mappoint 2004 to make a stand alone system to track by GPRS. The software can put a map on demand as a webpage on a server ... ( also with delay of 30 seconds , so no real-time) Second question : Is this OK? How many vehicles , users are allowed? Can you please give clear answers because nobody is sure when reading the EULA…. If there are some restrictions with the above programs , what can we do to use it anyway?( We don’t want to use Mappoint.NET) Thanks for info!!!!
