I am using VB6, currently, i run through all my records in a table to determine the distance from way point one (free field) to way point two (database record), this takes for ever. I thought if I could pass the object the zip code and a mile radius, that it will return all the zip codes in that radius, thus enabling me to make a much more efficient query.

Any ideas?
