Returning your Lat/Long in mappoint

Hello,

I know that there have been questions requarding this topic. I have read most but still do not have a clear understanding.

I have MP2004 and have a GPS receiver attached to my laptop. What I want to be able to do is to track the vehicles Lat/Long and send it to my data base every so many seconds. Is it possible to program MapPoint to do this for me. If not is there any mapping products out there that would do this through programming?

Thank you for your help.
