There have been quite a few VE improvements and additions to the Metroplex in the past year. Reunion Tower is an obvious one that required a better 3d model. Some of the Univ. Dallas buildings are now also included (the buildings up on the hill near Texas Stadium). Richard

Do you spend much time at University of Dallas? According to Wikipedia, the Reunion Tower has been in a lot of shows including the 80's TV show Dallas as well as Texas Walker Ranger. However, Wikipedia does not mention the source of the name - Reunion Tower. Oh sorry -- "Located at 300 Reunion Blvd. in the Reunion district of downtown Dallas" so that would explain it. Eric

The one I remember is "Lathe of Heaven" where it is some kind of weird dream machine. I also have some pictures in a book from the 1970s of the skirting-bankruptcy Rock Island Railroad. The shiny new Reunion Tower looks very surreal surrounded by the old railroad yards /etc before it was all redeveloped. The restaurant at the top has now reopened under new management. We haven't been yet. Yes, MrsWinwaed is a professor at the Univ. Hence the various ecological map things I've done like EcoMap Costa Rica (the data for the F# article I've promised you, is based on student wetland data) Richard
