Hey folks

Using vb6 + mappointcontrol, mp2k 2004 (iirc)

I let a user create a custom polygon, build it as they click...

Now, if the user selects from the right click menu 'Close Curve'

I have no way of knowing whether it's closed.

I'd anticipate MP would add the final set of coords -

doesn't seem to as of current.

I then added a custom Close Poly button - so the user can explicitly close it - and I will know they are formally done with the poly and ready to save - or do whatever with.

My question is, how can I tell if they DO happen to use the 'Close Curve' right mouse click option which MP passes through if right click event occurs on the map. ?

because it doesn't seem to have the final set of lat lon pair to match to the first.

Anyone have any insights ?

Seems like there ought to be a windows message (registered) there that one could intercept or a numbered menu-item. Might be a place to start ...
