I have Map Point 2004 and the roads for the cities I am looking at (Las Vegas, Sacramento) are hopelessly out of date. I tried the 'update construction function but this didn't accomplish anything'. It is frustrating that they call this 2004 since the road info for some of the faster growing cities in the west is from late 2002.

Is there any solution to this?

When is the next version of MapPoint due out?

Why can't they add a feature to all web downloads of new roads?

There's no solution..

I don't know if there will be a MapPoint 2005, but it would be announced soon if so.. otherwise it'll be about a year and a half most likely.

There's the MapPoint web service, this is supposed to be updated more frequently than the desktop product.

Also, Streets & Trips has historically come out more frequently than MapPoint.
