Route Display of GPS Coordinates

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have a PDA app that captures GPS data, this data data is synced back to a SQL database using RDA. I want to take this data set x1,y2 > x2,y2 > x3y3 etc and plot the route captured by the PDA i.e. simple visualisation of a pda route taken. This can not be rocket science but what is most effective way to achieve this with Mappoint 2006 within a local web app running under IE7?
