It's not unfortunately, you need to go through the MapPoint installation in order to use it in a program. The CD's are necessary because there is about 1GB of data with MapPoint, all the streets and other mapping data. Eric

You can do that but the Disk 2 RUN CD has to be mounted when your App runs - so you are no further ahead. If you really want to do this go for the Map Server / Location Server approach. Ciao,

You can do a Full Install, then the Disc 2 does not need to be mounted. You could burn to a Data DVD and they would both fit, they are not going to both fit on a Data CD no matter what compression you try  Eric
