MapForums

Is it possible in any way (by settings I haven't already found or by an addin) to scale down the symbols of the push pins as it is done with the symbols for the included locations (hotels etc.) if the scale changes?
I don't like these fat push pin symbols within a map with a large scale...
I'm using MapPoint 2002, - maybe another version helps?!

There's no way that I'm aware of besides programming something that would swap out the symbols with custom or smaller symbols when the map scale changes..

I think you'd want to use the AfterViewChange event.

Ok, - then I'll try it that way.
My fear is that it'll slow down the performance yet more than now - because I'm using steadily another addin that redraws a grid on AfterViewChange event. And something about a year ago MS has changed something within MapPoint (I'm afraid because of all my error-report-sendings... ha) to make it more sure but now it cannot follow with redrawing the grid e.g. by constantly moving the map ...
