seperating data dots

I have been helping a client working with multi agency professionals to improve services for deprived children and their families. They are finding Mappoint invaluable to help staff at all levels to visualise their data on clients and their environments - to show things like areas of deprivation and existing service provision. I have been using Mappoint to show locations of their clients who are identified by ID numbers and UK postcodes. As any one postcode area can (but may not) have multiple clients - only one flag is displayed for a postcode, regardless whether there is one client or 20 clients within that postcode area. You can see how many there are exactly by clicking on the flag - but is there a way of making Mappoint deliver a cluster of flags within a postcode area so you get the visual impact of the number of clients?

Thank you - Lesley

If you had more detailed location information (eg. street address), you could use these to plot the pushpins for each case. This would also show if you have a concentration at one end of a postcode (although this is unlikely with a full postcode as they rarely have more than a dozen or so addresses).

Another option might be to plot your data with pushpins for info as you are doing now, but first plot the Number of Cases as a Shaded Area.
Then the postcode area will be shaded according to how many cases there are in the postcode. Can be very effective.
