I'm looking for the best solution for a server side application to be able to update table with field personell's location via gps. When field server based application needs to dispatch a call it can query this table and compare to the calls address to determine the closest field agent. Once the agent is chosen the call details including map from the field agents location to the destination location can be printed.

Any suggestions using Map Point? I have a couple of other different ideas/technologies that may work, but nothing yet that I'm happy with.

You can automate this easy.

- to find closed address to the agent the most easy one is to find the closed one trough the birds eye of view. Just find the record with shorest latitude and then the record with shortest longitude. Then calculate the 2 distances for thes 2 records. One of these 2 is the most closed.
- then use mappoint to calc the route and print.
