| Set up project is not running The developed application using mappoint 2006 in vs 2008 is working fine, but when I created the set up project, it is giving the same old error Mappoint failed to load, the cause of this failure is unknown. What might be the problem, I have called the batch file in post build event, did this is creating the problem.... Thanks in advance.         |

Hi, I don't know, but do you run the setup from mappoint from the original disks? if not this could be a workaround maybe?

Hi, I have added set up and deployment project to my application. And I got the set up exe file. But when I install the set up exe, I am getting the exception as mappoint failed to load, the cause of failure is unknown. Thanks in advance. |

Hi, Does the mappoint executable run normal ? Normally you have to run it one time to click the licence agreement. After it you can run your own application. You can include that in your setup project.

Hi Wilfried , Thanks for the reply. Now we are using Mappoint 2009, so we are not facing any problem in Set up project. |
