Does MapPoint 2010 allow you to share maps and their imbedded data with others who do not have the software? Thanks for your help!
No. This is primarily because of all the basemap data. This is what takes up the bulk of the DVD that MapPoint ships on (ie. impractical to distribute with the maps). There are also sub-licensing issues concerning this data.

Thank you. Do you have suggestions for how to share/distribute the sales territory and opportunity information that I now have mapped?

Also, you can do File | Save as HTML to create images (this can be automated) and you can also do screenshots with a tool like HyperSnap.

Also, if the main issue is the cost of the MapPoint licenses (how many users do you want to distribute to?) One possibility is MapPoint's little brother Streets & Trips. It can be a bit of a pain to set up Pushpin layers in S&T compared to MapPoint, but it can be done. However I don't think S&T can do the more sophisticated visualizations like Multiple Symbol maps and Pie Charts.

As well as the HTML method, it is also possible to use an image from Mattys method, pass it thorugh MapCruncher and produce an interactive Bing Maps map. "Interactive" as being able to zoom and pan. You would not be able to click on your annotation - it would appear as a simple bitmap overlay.
