Are you trying to use MapPoint 2004 or the MapPoint Web Service (MWS)?

Start by signing up for the 45-day evaluation of MWS and go from there..

To get started with developing, see:

It is against the EULA to use the desktop version of MapPoint for web applications.

For the desktop version you are restricted to a number of map images for online publication - eg. a map to show customers where your office is.

ok i found the eula for mappoint 2002 , and you are right .
it isn't allowed to put maps online (the first 1000 are if i'm correct).

now a other license question ,

if i read correct , i am allowed to use mappoint for reverse geocoding and inly displaying the adress online.
for a limited number of users.

and for the mappoint web service , anybody nows prices ??

thanks again , arnold
