Question Show zip code boundries and numbers on map
I have been able to create territory maps and imported zip codes which has enabled me to view companies geographic region by zip code and color coordination. However I am not able to figure out how to overlay zip code boundries and numbers on the same map without going through the data map wizard which wants me to pick some sort of data to show like median age or square mile and then by zip code. I just need to see zip code boundries and numbers and my data. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch!

Thanks figured it out. It is as easy as what view you were looking at. Go figure.

Ok, I'll bite -- how did you do this? I can't seem to have zipcodes and my number per zip overlay on the same map. I have a 2 column dataset - zipcode and count. I can see the count on hover over zipcode, but I want to be able to see the data on the map... and print it..

How'd ya do it?

You select legend and overview icon on the top which does not show you the zip codes. I imagine that if your data set is populated via zip codes then what the Mapppoint rep showed me after an hour on the phone is you just select teh territory icon and if you are close enough view it will show all the zip codes. I hope that helps.

Errr. I can get to that view, but that's where I was. I see the zip codes,but have to HOVER over them to get the "count" data which has been linked. So, there data is there, but i'd like it visible on the page and in the printouts.

Thoughts?

In all reality, zip codes do not have boundaries- they are a collection of points. The only 'border' that a zip collection does not cross is at the national level.
However mundane this may seem, that is why there aren't readily available solutions for full zip resolution, only at the 3 digit level
