I want to add a number to the counties in various states. I don't want a data point or to shade the counties. I already have shaded, and have data points. Now I just need a number from the excel table that the other data comes from. The only options I see are to shade, data points, pushpins, ect.

I don't think I understand what you actually want? (and only what you don't want)
