showing mappoint windows outside of mappoint

Ok this one has been bugging me for a while. When you import or link data via code. You get all the mappoint wizard windows except the progess windows. This really stinks. I can't let the user wait that long and have nothing more than a hourglass telling them that my program is doing something. Plus the progress window looks really nice. Hope I am not asking too many questions. Any and all comments are welcome thanks alot. ;)

It would be a bit of work, but you could code your own wizard with a progress bar rather than calling the built-in one..

keywords: import, link, data wizard, hourglass, programming, progress window

No other way eh? I didn't really want to go that route because I don't want to lose the mappoint look and feel I could replicate it to some degree but it may just not look right.
