Simple Programming Question

I have Mappoint 2006. I cover the metro Baltimore area. The data comes out of SalesLogix in and Excel format. I cover the commercial construction market. What I would like to do is create a file of the owners, architects and general contractors, much like the prepackaged restaurants are in Mappoint.

How do you create there?

I'm not a programmer and was mislead as to the capabilities of Mappoint.

Re: Simple Programming Question

If your Excel data has location information (eg. coordinates or street addresses), then you can use the Data Import Wizard to import the data as pushpins.

Load each data type as a different pushpin set with a different symbol. You can also import more information - ie. do more than the built-in restaurant capability.
