A single Mappoint-Control for Two Applications

Hi to all,
it' s possible to have the same Mappoint Control, shared in two applications ?

My idea is to develop a main application with a MapPoint Control inside (AxMapPoint.AxMappointControl), and an external secondary application (like a plug-in) with the ability to work with the same map.

Thanks
Keter

Hi Keter,

If you have 1 application with the ActiveX control, and another one who opens the mappoint Application, then the second one seems to control the first. For example pan or zoom will do the first application pan and zoom.

On the other hand it seems an untested situation. so not recommanded I think.

But wy ? If I should do what you wants (if I uncersteand what you wants) I should let both applications talk to each other by a TCP session then you haee all control in you hands.
