My name is Jerome and I am evaluating MapPoint for an intranet application in C#
Let me first browse the forum before posting stupid questions ...

Welcome! Would the intranet application be using IIS or just a Windows Application with MapPoint installed on each machine?

In fact I did not find a simple (and legal) way for my application to be an ASP.NET intranet, so for now it's a simple winform application on a single computer with MapPoint installed.
I managed to do almost everything I wanted, except :
- multi-routing (several vehicles). I learned that MS did everything to prevent us from doing that, but I will find some ways to do that for v2 ^^
- it's soooo slow ... I did not have enough time to learn how to code an addin, but I think i may be forced to do that.
(for now, what hardware upgrade would be the most efficient ? RAM, SSD, CPU ?)
- I had to code an ugly algorithm to retrieve every streets in a town (or zipcode). I tested every points in some kind of spiral path ... Is there a better way to do that ?

Unless you have very little RAM, I think CPU is going to help the most... maybe SSD as well.

I'm not sure about the spiral algorithm, can you explain more? Why are you doing it?

There's some high-end routing software that might help.
