Hi

I'm trying to create territories on MapPoint 2009 by postcode.
I have successfully created a map using short postcodes; M, SE, PO, EH, etc, but i need to split a few postcodes in to separate territories e.g E1, E2, E3 in a territory named Central, and E15, E16, E17 in a territory named South.

As a create the territory MapPoint is saying it doesn't recognise the postcodes and is asking me to select a best match e.g. E

How do I create a territory map with this level of detail?

Thanks

Drew

I don't think you can mix geographic units ie postcode areas and postcode districts. If some of your territories need to be defined with districts then you'll have to define all your territories via districts eg instead of M using M1, m2, M3 etc. In my experience it's best to set up the territory definitions in an excel file which leaves more flexibility.
