Hi all,

:helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::h elpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::hel psmilie:

Do any one of you know of any MapPoint services that can be installed into Mobile devices such as handphones/PDAs?

And can the MapPoint services work in the device without the use of internet connection.

Lastly, if my application is a mobile VB.net application, can this Map Point service be embedded into our application?

Any response will be deeply appreciated. Thank You!:angel2:<!-- / message -->

The MapPoint brand name is attached to two things: the MapPoint Web Service; and the MapPoint desktop product.
I think this answers your question!

Older versions of Streets&Trips and MapPoint did ship with Pocket Streets which had limited map functionality on a Windows Mobile device. This has been discontinued. Note that MapPoint 2010 has some support for transferring information (eg. GPX files) to mobile devices.
