Locking the name of a Pushpinset?

is there a way to lock the name of a pushpinset via code?

Do you mean for the duration of the application being run or do you mean in the data forever?

I mean for the duration of the application running. I mean the user should not be able to change the name of the puspinset or delete some pushpins.
