MapPoint 2002 map accuracy

Hello masters !

I encountered a next problem:
When I place a pushpins on coordinates that I receive from satelite in 80% cases I miss from road. Miss on 300-800 meters ... What is the problem ?

Main parts from my data situated on ex-USSR countries .. may be this is a problem ?

I've got coords from GPS Garmin-35 (WGS-84)
