Outlook Contacts with LAT-LONG to MP?

I'm not a programmer and worse I'm a MP newbie. I have several hundred Outlook contacts to map into MP, and want to be able to add new ones frequently. When I use the wizard I get a lot of unmatched addresses (this is all in US). I can provide the exact lat-long of the unmatched address but it doesn't give me the option.

Question: Can I export all my matched MP records to Excel or Access, add lat-long data for the unmatched records, and then re-import them back into MP so that it only plots on lat-long instead of address (therefore NO unmatched records)?

Thanks for any help.

Why don't you import the records using your lat/lons instead of the street address columns? That sounds like the obvious way to go about this. You can tell MapPoint which columns to use for matching records to the map, so you just pick Lat and Lon.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you import lat-long data into MP? I see you can import Excel spreadsheets, but does it examine column data in the sheet and decide which column contains lat-long data?

Also, how do you export existing records into Excel to include lat-long data?
