Hi, wonder if someone can suggest a free map site that makes full use of 8.5 x 11 when printing maps... google, yahoo, & mapquest seem to use only about 1/3 of the page.. so one gets a 1/3 of detail... I'd love to print out some akin to the maps found at car rental offices..

I'm surprised... seems the map sites have all the detail in their databases... should be just as easy to send a full sheet of detail to printer than just a 1/3 page.. in fact, even go to 6 point type on street names so more streets can be labeled as one zooms out...

Any thoughts? Much thanks,

David

I've done full page (well minus a small margin) maps with MapPoint without any problems. Just switch off things like the legend.

You asked on a discussion forum for MapPoint, so I naturally assumed you were asking for MapPoint...
