I am new to MP and recently started my first project, mapping several companies located in the south across a 5 state area.

I imported my 3 row spreadsheet (company, city, state) of the 31 companies using wizard.
I selected each state and marked as a territory.
I found I could show the firm name by right-clicking a pushpin and chossing Show Information. I could not find a way to select all and show information.

I would also like to know if there is a way to make sure when pushpin ballons show, that they do not overlap each other in dense metro areas.

Thanks, Steve

I thought MapPoint 2010 had more options for showing pushpin information - try clicking or right-clicking on the pushpin set's name in the legend.

Support-PC's Pushpin Tool does have the ability to open/close all pushpin balloons at once (yes we are a reseller for Pushpin Tool).

Note that it isn't possible to ensure the balloons do not cover each other in very dense areas.
There are only four "corners" that a balloon can be located in. MapPoint does a good job of moving them around, but in a dense area those corners are quickly filled, and balloons will start to overlap.

I have MP2009 so maybe I am missing something in 2010. I can show info on a single one but subsequent ones still overlap. Maybe I need to break up into smaller maps of states so I can get more detail.

Thanks.

Yes if it is there, it would be new in MapPoint 2010.
MapPoint 2010 adds a umber of new pushpin control features like "hide" an entire pushpin set (essentially a simple layer-like action).
