I use a Garmin watch which saves my daily runs (jogs) in one of these formats. I can export these files to other mapping/imaging programs (mapmyrun.com, etc) and they can display the run. Is there any way I can have Map Point work with these files.
(Currently using MP 2009 at work, and 2010 at home.)

Hi Bill,

The new Mappoint 2010 (http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/2736-review-microsoft-mappoint) exports and imports .GPX files. This is a new feature you will not see in the Mappoint 2009.

Yes I would try MapPoint 2010 to see if that does what you want with the GPS files.

Some people have reported that the GPS import/export does not work quite as required - in most cases this is because "the other application/device" uses GPX for not-quite-standard things.
So try it.

If it doesn't work, my MPSuperShape product ( MPSuperShape: Home Page (http://www.mpsupershape.com) ) can import most KML files.
