I have been using MP 2004 for a year or two with the ham radio add-on APRSPoint. 2004 was chosen due to the problems with 2009, which I understand have been corrected on 2010.

I now want to be able to load and unload waypoint/pushpin sets in MP.

I have been able to import .csv files, but these require going through a multi-step process every time. I can import a number of files and then save the map.

A decade ago on Psion computers, the Palmtop programs were able to load any number (subject to memory limit) of waypoint set files and then selectively unload any files.

I would have thought that this would be possible in MP, but having searched on the web and attempted many options in MP, I still can't do this.

Any suggestions?

Hi Reg,

The easy answer would be to upgrade to 2010 where you can hide datasets.
The more complicated for 2004 would be to link to your dataset, add or remove information from the source, then update the linked dataset.

That's a good idea.

Trick the program, by having a number of data sets and just rename the wanted one for the program to use.

Thanks,
