Good afternoon gentlemen.
I am starting a distribution company of energy drinks. We are targeting gas stations in large metropolitan areas. Each sales person will be given a custom territory in the city. The territories will be created inside of Mappoint by highlighting a certain area and saving .

I would the territories created in the following manner.

1. The following will be IMPORTED into Mappoint:
A. name of store. B. address of Store C. store ID#
(each metro city will be imported separately)

2. We would like to highlight multiple TERRITORIES within the map. Each territory will be given a name or ID

3. We will EXPORT the DB with the TERRITORIES in one of the fields.
ie: A. name of store B. address of store C. store ID# D. territory ID

Does someone already have a program that can already do the above task? If so, is there a demo I can try out. I am happy to purchase it if it works well.

We have at least two applications that might be adapted to your needs.
Our demonstration would take place in a web-session.
Please contact us to set up a time to meet.

In one application, there are over 200 stores with territories. and over 250k customers.

In another, we have drive-time zone pricing for north-eastern US cities.

In another, we have over 80 franchises with protected territories.

Have a nice week-end.

We have not yet customized any territories. Yet in the first city alone we will have 30-40 territiories. Other large cities will have similar sized territories. Smaller cities will have smaller number of territories.

OK, we can store your territory definitions in a database and manipulate and calculate according to your specifications. Weekdays after 11 AM are good for us. Looking forward to hearing from you.
