Hi
Is there anyway of calculating the distance between a number of different start points (not stops) and one common destination. The start points will be inputted into MapPoint using post codes on an Excel worksheet. Ideally, the distance data should be reexported to the same Excel worksheet.
Thanks in anticipation.

Try out MileCharter product at MileCharter: Home Page (http://www.milecharter.com)
This will do many-to-one calculations like you are describing.
Import your start locations as as pushpin set. Create a second pushpin set with your destination location. Start MileCharter, select these and press "Start". Output is to a new Excel worksheet.
Milecharter can also do many-to-many calculations (eg. all combinations from all customers to all sales offices), and perform complex searches such as "report the 3 closest sales offices with 10 miles driving distance of each of my customers".

To automate it, yes.
You could always do each calculation by hand...

If you would like to do this entirely within Excel, our software CDXZipStream (http://www.cdxtech.com/cdxzipstream/overview.aspx) is an Excel add-in that works with MapPoint running in the background - just enter the start and end points in a worksheet and specify the data you need returned (to the same worksheet) such as driving distance, time, cost, etc. Here's a short YouTube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPbR92aMB-8) showing how it works.
