View Full Version : Editing an Imported Map

Thanks for helping out on the last question. I am new to this mapping software, so I have lots of questions. If this is not the right forum to post these in please let me know so I can post them in the right spot.
I have imported a route into MapPoint 2011 from a .gpx file. Is there a way to edit it once it is imported? Secondly, how can I get driving directions from an imported map?
Thanks again for all the help!

I believe the GPS file will have imported as a line or pushpins?

For the line, there isn't a huge amount you can do without tedium or custom programming.
For the pushpins, you could use these to select waypoints for your route. I think the pushpins will be "breadcrumbs" in which case you will only want to select a tiny fraction of the pushpins.
If they are already waypoints, then select them all.

(do this by opening the Route Planner)
