How do I merge data (& then export it)

I first tried to do this in Autoroute 2002/03 and even tried MS helpline but they were hopeless and couldn't say if it was possible or not....

Someone else suggested Mappoint might do it but can anyone tell me how to:

merge data from 2 .axe autoroute files into 1 file. Basically I have multiple files from different people with pushpin data on them that I want to merge into one larger file.

I then want to export all the data (name, grid ref, pushpin set name) out to Excel or similar.

Surely this is just the sort of task it was made for?

Any pointer would be gratefully seized upon !

There are 2 ways:
The first one is the hard way using VB6 to go through each recordset, I do not recommand it.

The second way is to first export to Excel each set, merge them manually in Excel and then re-import.
